You can use veggie filling instead of chicken …..
I saw this recipe in Raks kitchen and didn’t how to get the canapés from India ,that’s when my friend Sajida called to tell her hubby is coming to Dubai and asked if I wanted anything and that time she was like a God sent angel……I was so happy when I got them that next morning I made the filling and made the canapés ….the recipe asked for frying but my another friend that we can bake them in a oven ,I roasted in micro oven just like the way we do for roasting papads …..
Rasha liked the plain canapés and said they tasted like ice cream wafers and I think it’s a good party appetizer and not only easy but a quick one to make……
- Canapés – as required
- Chicken filling – 1/2 cup ( check the previous recipe for the filling recipe. )
- Mozeralla cheese -3 tbsp
- Place the canapés in the micro oven tray and cook for 1 minute and they will become crisp ( you can deep fry them but I prefer the micro oven one )
- Fill the canapés with chicken and then put mozerella cheese and again micro oven for another 30 seconds
- Serve immediately
Note : You can keep everything ready and just before serving make them as it doesn’t take time and any filling can be used and filling can be made a day before….you can also use green chutney or tomato ketch up….
