SweetCorn Methi Pulao ( Sweet corn Fenugreek pulao )

SweetCorn Methi Pulao ( Sweet corn Fenugreek pulao )

Kids exam , gym and work in school has made me decide that I need to go little slow with my cooking otherwise I will be for sure banned from my kitchen …I was tempted to make this pulao after seeing mom cleaning fresh fenugreek ( methi ) leaves , soaked the rice and then started searching for a simple pulao and got this one from subbus kitchen and it was ready within 30 minutes , felt really relaxed after making this dish

I served this pulao with spicy chicken curry , you can enjoy it curd raita ….it was enjoyed by all and I liked the way methi complimented with sweet corn and together they both added a new flavour to the rice and it was nice to see kids like this pulao

  3. Add the methi leaves to the pan. Along with this add the sweet corn to the pan. Mix everything well and stir-fry them for couple of minutes
  4. Add soaked rice to the pan. Saute the rice for another couple of minutes. Then add 2 cups of water and salt to the pan and mix well. When the water is adsorbed fully, reduce the flame to low. Close the pan with the lid and allow the rice to cook in low flame for about 10 minutes.
  5. Occasionally mix the rice once or twice using a wooden spatula. Gently remove the rice to the serving bowl without breaking the rice. Serve with raita or curry of your choice

I took 30 minutes to make this rice

    Happy cooking
